What Affects Ankara Fabric Prices?
Composition: our polyester wax print is 100% polyester. The Holland Wax, glitter wax and rhinestone wax options listed here are 100% cotton. Similar colours do not make these the same product.
Decoration: glitter and rhinestones add different finishes. Compare the actual coverage and placement, and ask how the selected fabric should be handled, packed and cared for.
Dimensions: six yards describes length. Confirm the width as well, because a wider fabric can offer a different cutting area. Ask your tailor to check the usable pattern area before deciding how many pieces to buy.
Quantity and selection: send the quantity per design and colour, as well as the total order quantity. Wholesale wax orders start from 10 pieces; the proposed mix and availability are confirmed before payment.

Holland Wax Price per Piece, per Yard and per Metre
Convert quotations to the same unit before deciding which offer is lower. For a confirmed six-yard piece:
Price per metre ≈ piece price ÷ 5.4864
For example, the Holland Wax reference price of US$9.85 per piece is approximately US$1.64 per yard or US$1.80 per metre. These figures exclude shipping and other charges. Compare the width and composition alongside the unit price.
How Much Will Shipping Add?
Start with the product weight, then ask the shipping provider for the chargeable weight and rate. For mixed products, calculate the weight of each line separately and add the results.
Estimated freight = confirmed chargeable weight × agreed freight rate
A shipping provider may charge by actual weight, volumetric weight or an agreed shipment basis. Product weight does not include every packing allowance. Container freight is quoted for the agreed shipment rather than by applying the small-order example below.

Compare the Cost with Your Local Selling Price
If your customers pay in a local currency, convert your USD cost using the exchange rate available for your payment. A live online rate can help you estimate, but your bank or payment service may apply a different rate and charges.
Estimated gross profit = sales revenue − included purchasing costs
Estimated gross margin = gross profit ÷ sales revenue × 100
If one piece has an included cost of US$14.10 and sells for the equivalent of US$20, the estimated gross profit is US$5.90 and the gross margin is 29.5%. That calculation only includes the costs entered. It is not a promise of demand or profit.
Deduct shop expenses, payment charges, customer discounts, local transport and other applicable costs when assessing the order. Use a local selling price for a comparable composition, length and finish, rather than comparing every fabric with the highest price you have seen in a market.

Our catalogue reference prices help you build a shortlist and an initial budget. They are standard fabric-only prices before any order-specific discount. A final FOB China quotation requires the selected designs, composition, width, quantities, packaging and agreed port of shipment.
For container orders, SJD Lace quotes on FOB China terms. We do not offer CIF quotations. International freight, import clearance, taxes and destination charges are arranged and paid for by the buyer. The final quotation sets out the agreed shipment details and included origin costs.
